Virus Stops Making Sound!

I use my Virus TI Keyboard almost strictly standalone as I am mostly using it for live playing. I have the weirdest thing happen every once in awhile. When I am playing all of a sudden a crazy loud static sound comes out of speakers (almost deafening!) and then disappears at which point my Virus no longer makes any sound. The only way to get it working again is to unplug the power and plug it back in. Anyone had this issues before?

P.S. This is my second Virus TI because the first one did it so much they replaced it for me.

I have 4.0 but it has done this on several different OS versions and I have the TI keyboard not the TI2. Any ideas?

what you experience is the virus crashing. if that happened with every OS revision and especially with the latest ones, i wouldn't rule out a hardware problem. you should get in touch with access support. they will be able to help you analysing the problem further.
